In the year 1875

	March 7th	French composer, Maurice Ravel, was born in Ciboure. He is considered to be one of the major composers of the 20th century. most known for his orchestral piece, Bolero.
	April 2nd	Walter Chrysler, founder of the Crysler automotive company was born in Wamego, Kansas.
	September 3rd	Austrian automotive engineer, Ferdinand Porsche, was born Mattersdorf, Bohemia. He is is best remembered for his design of the original Volkswagen Beetle and for his contributions to advanced German tank design. He also founded the sports car manufacturing company with the same name.
	September 23th	William H. Bonney, also known as Billy the Kid was arrested for the first time. He escaped by worming his way up the jailhouse chimney and remained a fugitive ever since.
	October 23th	American chemist, Gilbert N. Lewis, was born in Massachusetts, USA. He was one of the most famous chemists / physicists of the 19th-20th centuries and the person who came up with the term "Photon".
