Austrian composer, Leopold Mozart, died at the age of 68. He is best remembered now as the father of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, even though he was an acclaimed composer himself.
September
17th
The United States officially became a country. This day is celebrated as the 'Constitution day' of the United States.
October
29th
First ever performance of Mozart's opera, Don Giovanni, took place in Prague.
December
7th
Delaware was the first state to ratify the US Constitution.
December
12th
Pennsylvania became the 2nd state to ratify the United States Constitution.
