This year in history
In the year 1752

	June 6th	A huge fire destroyed most of the city of Moscow. Approximately 20,000 homes were destroyed.
	June 15th	Benjamin Franklin proved that lightning is electricity.
	September 2nd	The United Kingdom adopted the Gregorian calendar. It was still using the Julian calendar for almost two centuries longer than most of the nations of Western Europe.
