This year in history
In the year 1843

	April 15th	American born author, Henry James, was born in New York City. He spent most of his life in Europe and became a British citizen during the later years of his life. He is considered as of of the great literary figures of the 19th - 20th century. His most well known novel was "The Portrait of a Lady" which was also made into a film in 1996, starring Nikole Kidman and John Malkovich.
	August 15th	The amusement park of Tivoli Gardens, opened in Copenhagen, Denmark. It is the second oldest amusement park in the world that is still open today. The oldest is also located in Denmark.
