In the year 1810

	March 1st	Polish composer, Frederic Chopin, was born in Zelazowa Wola. He is widely acknowledged as one of the greatest composers of piano music.
	June 26th	French inventor, Joseph Michel Montgolfier, died at the age of 69. Along with his brother Etienne, he was the co-inventor of the hot air balloon.
	October 27th	United States annexed the former Spanish colony of West Florida.
