In the year 1761
English mathematician, Thomas Bayes, died at the age of 59. His work on probability theory still influences probability related programs to this day. Search engine giant Google, for instance, employees the principles of Bayes to produce the most probable result sets.
French, Marie Tussaud, was born in Strasbourg. She became famous for her wax sculptures and the wax museum she setup in London.
