American writer, Gertrude Stein, was born in Pennsylvania. She was an American, although she lived most of her life in France and was one of the most influential figures of modern art in the 20th century.
American entrepreneur, Thomas J. Watson, was born in New York. He was the founder of the International Business Machines (IBM) corporation and is considered as one of the most successful businessmen of all time.
Italian scientist, Guglielmo Marconi, was born in Bologna, Italy. He is credited with the invention of the radio and was the recipient of the Nobel prize in physics. He was also a member of the Italian fascist party and a member of Mussolini's Grand Council of Fascism.
President of Israel, Chaim Weizmann, was born in Motal, Belarus (Then Russia). He was President of the World Zionist Organization and the first elected President of the state of Israel.
