American actor, John Wayne, was born in Winterset, Iowa. He was born as Marion Robert Morrison and was one of the most celebrated stars of American cinema throughout his career, a career that spanned 5 decades, from his early appearances in the silent movies of the 1920's up until the 1970's. |
